I needed someone to do some work for me on a four year old PC that was having bootup problems. I found the person to call from looking in the Compass magazine (Sun City Lincoln Hills). I called Steve and related my problems. He came to the house, popped the case, and pointed out to me that the motherboard had capacitors that were slowly going bad; that accounts for the slow speed on bootup, he said. Old technology had to be replaced! He built me a new machine to our agreed-upon specs, and took my old machine to install a new motherboard; later caled to say that he had to replace the CPU. Delivered the new machine, days later delivered the rebuilt machine and hooked up a wireless sysstem for the rebuilt machine. I have had techs, and I have had techs, but none with the knowledge that Steve had displayed to me. He is absolutely knowledgeable about computers, efficient, honest, and is concerned for the PC needs of the Senior community of Sun City. I recommended him to my next door neighbor; he fixed their machine with the same proficiency as he did mine. If ever I need additional work, or need to recommend a "computer guy" to someone, it will absolutely be Steve. Thanks, Steve for your good work! John

Steve is the most knowledgeable person I have met in the computer industry. He explains everything that reguires his attention in terms that are understandable to the lay person. His fees are extremely fair and the work is completed when he said it would be and done correctly the first time. I have no reservations about recommending him and I have given his card to three people who will be calling him in the near future to work on their computers. I plan to make Steve my "go to guy" for all my future computer needs.

Stephen Boose just left my house; I feel like dancing in the street. The reason is that he helped lift a dark cloud of frustration to find a clear view. I just had my computer fixed by Steve. He spent 2 hours, patiently explaining things to me, installing programs etc.. He checked and re-checked everything to make sure everything is working perfectly. He was never in a rush, and was very detail-oriented and very professional, and very friendly. And the best thing of all is that, his fees are very, very reasonable. I will not hesitate to refer Steve to all my friends.

I called Steve after seeing his ad in the Lincoln Hills' Compass. I knew I had a virus and I had been unable to remove it. Steve arrived promptly; but, little did we know that it would take hours to remove the virus. Even after the long time he spent trying to remove the virus; Steve remained patient, courteous, and very professional. He let me look over his shoulder and ask questions and he answered them without hesitation. I was so very pleased that I called Steve without references and without hesitation. He is terrific. My computer has been crashing ever since I had it "fixed" at Best Buy 4 months ago. They replaced the hard drive and it wasn't any better, $250 later. Yesterday it finally crashed and would not start again, even after reinstalling the HP disks. I called Steve and he came over the same day! He totally fixed it in 1-1/2 hour....not 2 weeks! He is very competent and very pleasant and highly recommended. It's a comfort to know I can call someone who has his capabilities.

I built my computer myself a couple of years ago, but when It recently crashed, I didn't have the diagnostic tools or extra parts to diagnose the problem. I read the testimonials here and decided to give Steve a try. I must say that I am completely satisfied with his expertise, quickness, cost, and professionalism. I made an appointment with Steve to check out my computer, because I had been sent a virus & thought it was causing my computer to freeze up. Somehow or another my son was able to remove the virus, but my PC was still freezing up. Steve arrived on time, was very courteous, & answered all my questions. Last week Steve came to clear my old computer of all programs, and files,and to help me organize and access all my documents. It was a pleasure to interact with him and to watch him work. He is quick and competent, as well as pleasant and friendly. I had no idea that my new cordless mouse was unable to "right click." After learning it from Steve, I had to return the mouse to the store no fewer than four times. And he also returned to my house four times. He insisted on making the follow-ups part of the original service call, with no extra charge.I am certain that once someone is fortunate enough to acquire Stephen as their technician, he or she will never settle for anyone else.

I had the pleasure of meeting Steve when he was sent to my home for computer repair by Best Buy after their computer support techs couldn't solve the problem with my computer over the phone and I spent "weeks" on the phone with them. Steve took one look at my computer and agreed with me that the on / off button on the computer front was sticking causing all my problems. I had tried to tell the computer techs this over the phone and of course, "I knew nothing"! About one year later for some reason my computer crashed on the worst day possible, April 15th! Again I spent about an hour over the phone with HP computer techs and all they could tell me was that I had to use my restore disk to get my computer back up and running. Thank goodness I refused to do that with someone over the phone that really had no idea what the problem was. I had a phone call into Steve and about 2PM he phone be back and at 2:10PM my computer was up and running with no problems and no loss of programs or information. I was soooooooo grateful!!! About a month later may computer crashed again and this time I call Steve first. Again he phone be back about 2:30PM and by 2:40PM my computer was up and running again!! I am extremely grateful to Steve for his help, all 20 minutes of it, and would not hesitate for one second to recommend him to any one with computer troubles! Thanks again Steve!!!! I have been working on a Packard Bell that is 5 years old. Need I say more! I have read numerous books while waiting for the screen to produce what I researched, my e-mail, travel information, etc. We work in the travel industry and desperately need a computer that is quick and accurate. Being semi-illiterate in computers, I called Steve Boose. He arrived promptly at our home and advised me what the best computer would be for us. Steve had me order the parts from an online store so he could build my new computer. When the parts arrived he picked them up and returned a day later with my new computer.  He was quick, pleasant and more than willing to show us how to do several tasks on the new computer. Now I am unable to read very much because this machine is so fast. His suggestions for our needs were perfect and he explains in a language understandable to novices. I have dealt with other technicians in the past, but none were as professional, capable, knowledgeable and understanding as Steve. Unfortunately, I will probably not have any problems with this computer that Steve built, so I hope we will keep in touch anyway with this pleasant young man. However, I intend to refer him to anyone who needs help. His prices are exceptionally reasonable and he doesn't take advantage of one who has no idea how much these products cost Once again, thank you for your expertise. Phyllis
