Ethernet Networking

Your personal home
 computer technician is Steve

This it the most flexible variant because there are several different ways of using standard networking equipment to share internet access. The most common way, however, requires a hub, lots of cable and a network card for each computer. Since standard networking generally uses a cable (RJ-45) that isn't usually standard in most houses, if your computers are in different rooms, cable will have to be run between rooms. (Something a lot of people don't want to do.)

Pros: Very flexible, somewhat inexpensive, fastest type of network

Cons: Requires wiring not found in most houses

Recommended: People whose computers are in the same room or who don't mind running cable between rooms will be best off with this solution.
