Comp-Solve computer systems come with a one-year limited warranty. The information below is a description of Comp-Solve one-year limited warranty for systems purchased.
One-Year Limited Warranty
Comp-Solve Computers builds it's systems from parts and components that are new and in accordance with industry-standard practices. Comp-Solve Computers only use industry recognized quality components in our systems. Comp-Solve Computers warrants that the computer systems it builds will be free from defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty term is one year beginning on the date of invoice, as further described below. This warranty is non-transferable.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, abuse, accident, or any damage incurred through acts of God (floods, earthquakes, power surges, lightning, etc.), or viruses that you may inadvertently load on your computer with other software, or Internet downloads. Comp-Solve Computers is not responsible for any software/peripherals installed by the end-user that were NOT included in the original system. Upgrades or repairs to the machine of any kind, which are not performed by Comp-Solve Computers, will void any and all warranties on this computer.
Comp-Solve Computers will repair or replace products found to be defective in material or workmanship. To request warranty service, you must call Comp-Solve Computers within the warranty period. A Comp-Solve Computer Technician will talk with the end user on the phone and ask some basic questions to get an idea of what the problem is. If Comp-Solve Computers determines that the problem is a software related problem the end user may be instructed to perform a software reinstall. If the end user insists that said problem is believed to be a hardware problem or if the end user does not want to perform a software reinstall, Comp-Solve Computers will set an appointment with the end user. At time of appointment if said problem has been determined to have been a software or configuration problem (not a hardware problem, ie: no parts were replaced) Comp-Solve Computers will charge the standard discounted rate for an onsite service call. If said problem turns out to be a hardware problem (ie: parts need to be replaced) then there will be no charge for the service call or the parts.
NOTE: Before you schedule an onsite warranty call, it is recommended that the end user back up any important data (ie: e-mail address, bookmarks, letters, etc,) Comp-Solve Computers cannot and will not be held responsible for data loss.
Comp-Solve Computers owns all parts removed from repaired computers. Comp-Solve Computers only uses new quality parts made by various manufacturers in performing warranty repairs and building replacement products. If Compsolve Computers repairs or replaces a product, its warranty term is not extended.
THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM STATE TO STATE (OR JURISDICTION TO JURISDICTION). COMPSOLVE COMPUTERS RESPONSIBILITY FOR MALFUNCTIONS AND DEFECTS IN HARDWARE IS LIMITED TO REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT AS SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT. ALL EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES FOR THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF AND CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE WARRANTY PERIOD SET FORTH ABOVE AND NO WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WILL APPLY AFTER SUCH PERIOD. SOME STATES (OR JURISDICTIONS) DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. GCP DOES NOT ACCEPT LIABILITY BEYOND THE REMEDIES SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT OR LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY LIABILITY FOR PRODUCTS NOT BEING AVAILABLE FOR USE OR FOR LOST DATA OR SOFTWARE. SOME STATES (OR JURISDICTIONS) DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
New System Return Policy
If you bought new products directly from Comp-Solve Computers, you may return them to Comp-Solve Computers up to 7 days from the date of the invoice for a refund of the purchase price. The refund or credit will not include any shipping and handling charges shown on your invoice.
A minimum 20% Restocking Fee will be applied to all New System refunds. Additional restocking fees may be applied if all parts, manuals, driver software, boxes, packaging, etc, are not returned.
You must return the products to Comp-Solve Computers in their original packaging. You may return software for refund or credit only if the sealed package containing the diskettes/CDs is unopened. Returned products must be in as-new or as-shipped condition, and all of the manuals, diskettes, power cables, and other items included with a product must be returned with it.
